The Baltic is the quarterly journal of the Baltic Exchange in London, the world's leading shipbroking representative body. The Baltic Exchange is the world’s only independent source of maritime market information for the trading and settlement of physical and derivative contracts. A panel of international shipbrokers provides daily assessments on 42 wet and dry routes, and contributes to weekly sale and purchase and demolition indices. These independent freight market assessments are used as a basis for settling Forward Freight Agreements (FFAs) and other “over the counter” products, a market worth some $30 billion per annum that is rapidly attracting new players to the freight marketplace.

World Bunkering is the official magazine of the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA). Which was formed in 1992 to provide an International forum to address the concerns of all sectors of the Bunker Industry.
